Helpful Development Society Nepal (HDS-N) organized a three months sewing – needle craft training for single, back warded Dalit (non-touch able society) women. 13 numbers of women have had training on needle craft. During training, we teach women about importance of entrepreneurship from entrepreneurship expert. After training, they do employ by Garment Factory. In Nepal, still garment factory needs large numbers of human resource to make garments. HDS-N initiated this needle thread skill development program as a pilot program in support municipality (Nepal government) The Nestling Trust UK (TNT-UK). The initiative became successful. We have plan to develop an organization (HDS-N) as a training center for Women Entrepreneurship Development. We do go on parallel way, like training to back warded women production of garments. Due to that, we can be sustained from profit of produced garments. Our long run goal is to run safe house for violated women train them in training Centre run by organization. Due to their independency, they can live their life in dignified way.
